12th of Oct 2012:
Tecnical Visit in Longarone (BL): “Sapori Italiani – Italian Flavours”. The festival is an exhibition of foodstuff and typical food (food delights of our country) that pays attention to the area of the Dolomites; students made interviews to the operators about foodstuff and dishes. They made also statistical analysis about the results of the interviews.

MEETING COMENIUS 18-22 of Febr 2013
The program was
developed in full respect of the Comenius aims established: EDUCATIONAL
VISITS, THECNICAL VISITS, LOCAL COMMUNITY, FUTURE ACTIVITIES .....
This second meeting
has allowed us to begin to work
specifically on food.
We will put all the works into
the Blog of project organized by the Spanish country.
The students were welcomed and hosted in families
identified by the Italian Team
They were 18 students
( 9 boys and 9 girls) and 17 teachers
After the welcome in
Italian School by the Headmaster and by the
teachers of Comenius team, after the knowledge of the school structure
(central school of Castelfranco V.to), we introduced the work done in the first
period, planned during the first meeting
in Romania (PPT Presentations)
The students of the
countries involved into the project,
presented their school structure and
the questionnaires on food (fast food
and traditional cuisine) developed in each countries.
Students presented
also the interviews made in their countries
on the subject “Fast food”:
The results were discussed and compared and every country
will put them in the Blog.
The Comenius group visited the school Branch
of St Gaetano of Montebelluna
(TV), where the work continued with mutual knowledge and integration through
sports activity (Students-match volleyball) and preparation of a meal together.

- The visit to Venice was
organized by some families for students
and by individual teachers
The project involved
the guests participating at several lunches and dinners for disseminating the culinary traditions of our
area.
The final dinner at the culinary
School of Castelfranco V.to (TV) , organized by students and teachers,
showed the psychological aspects of
food throughout a “trip of 5 senses” and
it revisited in an original way the idea
of Fast Food with dishes prepared with traditional products.
Everything was documented with photos and videos.
All works, visits presentations were in English
language and it was a positive full
immersion for teachers and students.
This experience was
very interested and productive and all
(teachers and students) were enriched with new
skills and knowledges.
It was very
appreciated by the families the politeness of students who visited our
country.
The students
have worked with students of other countries and learned
new things and compering
different habits.
All students
was very happy to present their school and to get involved in the
workshops prepared for them.
We want to point out the friendly atmosphere and cooperation of the
group: this Comenius has confirmed an important aim of Comenius Project:
cooperation between European students and teachers.
