World Food Day

This year our School promoted a healthy menus contest and the winner one was prepared by the 1st graders from EB1 Visconde de S.Gião.

The 6th graders also made some works related to the event and organized an exhibition.

Urban Corps, a local organization connected with gymnastics promoted a nutritional evaluation among our teachers, students and staff.

World Food Day - 16 October - was proclaimed in 1979 by the Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The aim of the Day is raising awareness of the world food problem as well as strengthens solidarity in the struggle against hunger, malnutrition and poverty, being one of the main priorities the promotion of safer, healthier diets.
